MFA Logger Appreciation Dinner Announced

Join MFA as we celebrate loggers, an essential part of the forest supply chain in Mayland! When: Wednesday, October 12th at 6:00 PM

Where: East New Market Firehall 4020 East New Market Bypass East New Market MD 21631 It's a great chance to build camaraderie within the sector while enjoying great food from Mission BBQ. If you are a current MD-DE Master Logger or a Logger with a current MFA Membership, dinner is on us! Pricing is kept modest to encourage attendance by landowners, foresters, mills, haulers, and anyone in the general public who supports sustainable forestry and our boots-on-the-ground guys and gals that get the work done! There will be raffles, door prizes, and more!

Hear from Scott Dane with the American Loggers Council Learn about the Joseph Russell Smith Memorial Fund, established to financially aid loggers with critical needs that are injured on the job or the families of loggers killed on the job. Logger of the Year, Billy Singleton, will be presented with his awards. Meet our inspirational keynote speaker, Bobby Goodson (Swamp Loggers)!
